We believe that all students should have the same opportunities for educational and career success, no matter their family wealth. Starr Hill Pathways is zero cost to the scholars we serve and their families.
Starr Hill Pathways is funded by a combination of university funds, gifts from philanthropic foundations, and grants to support research activities. All funds raised by The Equity Center to support SHP will be matched by UVA dollar for dollar. To date, Starr Hill Pathways has been supported by generous contributions from the DN Batten Foundation, the Anne & Gene Worrell Foundation, the Jefferson Trust, and many other individuals. We've received research funding from the WT Grant Foundation, Spencer Foundation, Bezos Family Foundation, and the Doris Duke Foundation. We continue to apply to funding from a variety of sources, and are grateful to all who support us.
