Sanny Yang is a graduate student at the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy. She is originally from South Korea but grew up in Malawi and Kenya before moving to the U.S. for college. She graduated Summa Cum Laude/Phi Beta Kappa from Hope College in Holland, MI with a BA in Political Science and Global Studies. Upon graduation, she worked as a Research Associate at a strategic communications firm in Falls Church, VA. Post-MPP, she hopes to pursue a career with a focus on global humanitarian policy.
