An Equity Center Faculty Affiliate participates in community engaged scholarship through teaching, research, or outreach efforts.
Example Roles: This is a non-exhaustive list of possible roles for Faculty Affiliates:
- * acting as a mentor for a Community Fellow-in-Residence
- * acting as PI or Co-PI on grant funded research submitted through the Equity Center
- * having a commitment to Equity Centered Community Engaged Teaching
- * supporting structural change in the University
Responsibilities: The faculty affiliate supports the work of the Equity Center through their community engaged scholarship by thoughtfully adhering to the Mission, Vision, and Values of the Equity Center. You may be asked to:
- * serve as a reviewer on community facing proposal committees
- * contribute to community research efforts
